“Eclectic… You go and don’t feel like you’re in the middle of Missouri. The staff is trained very well. The food is delicious. The bartenders know how to bartend. Room 38, also known as 38, throws fantastic parties for the public and private celebrations. A good place to get bottle service in Columbia. I would recommend this place for all ages and during all parts of the day!”

“Had to do some work before a big meeting coming up so I stopped into room 38 because I had a gift card so I thought I would grab a drink while I waited. Went in and got greeted immediately after I sat down by Sheely. She was a wonderful waitress and never let my drink go empty. She could see I need some time to work and let me do just that without ignoring my needs.”
“I went to school in Columbia many years ago and if room 38 had been there it would have been my favorite then and it’s a definite favorite now.
We went late Sunday morning and stayed until they closed at 3 p.m. . There wasn’t anywhere to sit when we got there but we finally got a seat at the bar and started drinking the bottomless mimosas. Met and talked with many interesting and friendly people. I had the shrimp and grits which was spot-on. I don’t eat many spices and I ordered with the sauce on the side and they brought it with the sauce on it which was too spicy for me but they took it back immediately and brought me a new serving and I loved it. My friend has some sort of filet and eggs and he said it was very good too. I would definitely go back to room 38.”

“Nice club feel with a big menu of variety and interesting combinations to each piece. Large drink menu as well. Full bar of exciting different drinks. Had the Asiago Chicken and sweet potato fries. Good. Worth the go. I’m sure the night life is really fun for it too.”

“Had not been here in a long time and went twice this month after remembering how good it is. Such a fun, diverse menu. They have better tables now which are more comfortable. The seating was one of the things that kept me away for awhile. Wide selection of sharing plates, sandwiches, desserts. Great place to go out for a fun dinner downtown.”
“I reserved a table for a bachelorette party and the staff did amazing. They explained the menu, gave us opinions, and delivered everything with a smile. The menu is different and very appeasing, even for the members of our party that were gluten free. Nothing we ordered was left on our table. I HIGHLY recommend the Lobster Mac & Cheese.”

The good is absolutely mouth watering and not only beautiful on the plate, your taste buds will be in heaven as well. Prices are reasonable and portion size nice as well. “We wanted to have a very nice dinner after graduation and this restaurant was recommended to us. This was an excellent suggestion, we had a wonderful meal and the expense was not too much. The salads were larger than expected and the small plates were also nice portions. A very good experience overall.”
“Room 38 is a small restaurant with distinct seating. The staff is friendly. We shared the Spicy Chicken Queso Dip and the Mahi Mahi Tacos. The queso dip was incredible. It was served with chips, carrots and celery. The tacos were good but not my favorite. They seemed a little bland compared to other fish tacos I’ve eaten. I wouldn’t order them again but the queso dip I definitely would. Other people in our party ordered the Black and Blue salad and said it was delicious. The portion size was huge. They easily made two meals out of those salad.”

“My wife and I love Room 38. The darker lighting and more intimate setting is awesome. We were both surprise at the quality of food. My wife loves the surf n’ turf and I go frontage beef n’ brick. We have had almost all of the apps and they are incredible. Reservations are necessary sometimes so check ahead.”

“Room 38 has an incredible menu with some diverse choices. It’s not possible to categorize the selections. They have a wide drink menu as well.
I visit there whenever I am in Columbia and always wind up staying late in the evening watching sports or listening to the DJ, chatting with new friends.”

“I have actually been there many times, at different times of the day; have been there solo, with friends, for business and as a couple and have always left the place feeling very happy, have had specialty drinks, a variety of beers. Also their food is awesome, and what I and the people who I have been there love the most is the excellence in service; I need to be back here soon!!!”
